This policy explains how British AI Guy handles information submitted through its training waitlist. British AI Guy is the practical AI education and training brand operated by mccaigs. MCCAIGS GROUP LTD is the legal operating company and data controller.
Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, location or region, primary reason for joining and confirmation that you agree to be contacted. You may also choose to provide your organisation, job title, preferred training format, what you want to build or learn, how you heard about us and separate marketing consent.
Why we use it
We use this information to operate the waitlist, understand demand, plan relevant training, contact you when dates or places become available and answer related enquiries. Promotional email is only sent where you have selected the separate optional marketing checkbox.
Where it is stored
Submissions are held in a private Google Sheet controlled by the website owner. A secure service database used by the website also stores the submission so it can validate delivery, prevent duplicate entries and recover safely from temporary connection failures. Google Workspace and the website hosting infrastructure act as service providers for this processing.
How long we keep it
Waitlist information may be retained for up to 24 months after your most recent interaction, unless it is needed for longer to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw optional marketing consent or request deletion. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or prevent essential communication about a place you requested.
